Jim Beyers grew up on a farm in Pana, Illinois and studied agricultural industries and processing at the Southern Illinois University. He currently resides in Wichita, Kansas with his wife and enjoys “non-stop” hunting and vegetable gardening.
Jim came to Continental Agra in 1999, bringing with him more than 35 years of experience. He worked for Archer Daniels Midland for 10 years in their Research Center and then moved on to become the Vice President of Manufacturing at Westward Industries for 25 years. Jim has built 5 production plants in 3 different countries; he also owns and operates his own soy protein specialty production plant. His many years of experience make him Continental Agra’s expert on food grade equipment, production plant design, process layout design and food ingredient manufacturing equipment.
Although Jim only works part time in our Newton office, he is never more than a simple phone call away.
